Organic chemistry is the worst. Or so I thought. Going into my second year, I was downright terrified of Chemistry 233, UBC’s introductory organic chemistry class. But as student of the class, I think its bark is worse than its bite.

“I feel very honoured — It's very humbling. Looking back two years ago, I never would've imagined [it]. If someone told me, ‘You're going to be on Forbes 30 Under 30,’ I wouldn't believe them. I'd think they were crazy,” she said.
It is easy to get complacent in this section. Enough stories come my way that I could easily stick to reviews, previews and interviews concerning campus goings-on and do a well-enough job at it to end the day satisfactorily.

The sexual assault policy committee is on schedule to release a redraft of the policy in February. Following this, the redraft will go out for more public consultation due to the fact that it is going to be “quite significantly different.”

Last April, one of the goaltenders for the UBC women's hockey team passed away abruptly, only a few days away from her 34th birthday. Over the next few hours, it became apparent that she had been yet another casualty to mental illness.
