Eight faculty members have been named fellows of the Royal Society of Canada (RSC). The RSC is an institution that comprises the arts, humanities and sciences — one of its main purposes is to promote learning and research in the three academics.
“The database has existed for many years before, but hadn’t been professionally updated for quite a while — so we wanted to revisit refreshing it so that it can have a more common look and feel,” said Darran Fernandez.
A recent study suggested that although there has been an overall decline in youth participation in sports, LGB teens are even less likely to participate in such activities. The study involved 99,373 youth from across BC.
