Heroes of the Dorm, Blizzard’s yearly Heroes of the Storm tournament, features collegiate teams from across North America.

A game-high 20 kills from Kiera Van Ryk and UBC’s ability to take advantage of Calgary service errors allowed the Thunderbirds to maintain any leads they had throughout the four sets.

The Thunderbird’s hockey program was seeing double this year as both teams ended their seasons early after two tough weekends of playoff games.

This year’s playoff exit was the second in a row to come by Calgary’s hand.
