Tickets for the annual AMS Welcome Back BBQ, now in its 31st year, have gone on sale.
This year, featuring Cashmere Cat, Dragonette, The Zolas, Dirty Radio and Glory Days, the event will be on Friday September 11 from 2:30 p.m. at 6190 Agronomy Road -- where the 2015 Block Party took place.
Tickets are between $15 and $30 and are available online here.
Only 5,000 tickets are available, and traditionally early bird tickets sell out within hours or minutes of being announced. Compared to the 2014 event, this number has been increased to allow more students to attend.
Six hours of music, food and drinks finishes up the AMS First Week event schedule and is open to all ages.
No rain is scheduled for September 11 as of yet, so bring your money, IDs and friends to kick off the start of the new year, UBC style.
