A naked, middle aged man found near the Ponderosa residence yesterday evening appeared to be on drugs, police said.
Officers arrived at University Boulevard and North West Marine Drive around 6 p.m. in response to a report of a naked man in distress, according to Corporal Brenda Winpenny of the University RCMP.
“Police arrived to find the 47-year-old male in a state that appeared to be drug induced,” said Winpenny.
After the RCMP arrived on the scene, an ambulance was called and transported the man to the hospital for medical attention, Winpenny added.
Police declined to identify the man and said they are no longer involved.
