For this year’s sci-fi contest, Ubyssey Science went Biopunk. We asked you to examine a consequence of bioengineering, whether it be about clones or genetic engineering or a weird semi-sentient vine that’s attached to a cybernetic enhancement.
Thank you to everyone who participated, and for making this year’s contest our most popular one yet!
Here are the winners.
- Winner: ‘The Sky is Falling’ by Ava McBrearty
- Runner-up: ‘Hot Water’ by Sean Cuevas
- Runner-up: ‘Hubble’s Law’ by Shereen Lee and David Collings
- Runner-up: ‘At What Cost’ By Pawan Minhas
