Pooja Bhatti has been elected as the next AMS VP Administration. She beat out Faraz Nikzad and Julien Hart for the title.
“I’m so shocked and it feels incredible!” said Bhatti. “This experience has made me realize how blessed I am because I have had such amazing supporters in this entire race.”
Her platform focuses on strengthening the relationship between the AMS, constituencies and clubs. It also outlines four objectives — “restructure the AMS-constituency relationship, improve outreach to and by clubs, increase sustainability and accessibility of the Nest, and enhance campus culture.”
Prior to winning this title, she was the VP Administration for the Science Undergraduate Society.
“Next, I’ll call my parents and brother, and tell them that I won,” said Bhatti.
