RCMP warns of suspicious man in Pacific Spirit

The University detachment of the RCMP are warning the public about a suspicious man in Pacific Spirit Park.

According to an 11:30 a.m. media release from Corporal Christina Martin, University RCMP received a report of a man following a group of walkers and another of a man “performing an indecent act” on Tuesday, February 14.

Both incidents occurred near the 5300 block of NW Marine Drive and there was no direct contact between the man and individuals, the release read.

The man was described as Caucasian, 17 to 25 years-old with a slim build and dirty blonde hair.

The RCMP encouraged individuals to keep earbud volume low, and if possible to not walk or exercise alone in the area. Martin asked individuals who witness similar incidents to call the University RCMP at 604.224.1322.
