RCMP asks UBC to be on lookout for missing 12-year-old

Update: Forsyth-Sanford has been located.

University RCMP have asked the campus community to be on the lookout for a 12-year-old girl, who has been missing from Norma Rose Point School since 8 a.m. this morning.

Zoe Forsyth-Sanford is described as Caucasian, 5’2” and with long red hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a purple coat, black pants and a headband.

Norma Rose Point Secondary is an approximate 15 minute walk from campus, and is located at 5488 Ortona Road. According to an RCMP news release, “[Forsyth-Sanford] failed to show up for a scheduled meeting at 12:30 p.m. and at a second appointment at 1:30 p.m. That scheduled appointment was in the 5300-block of Chancellor Boulevard, Vancouver.”

UBC’s Campus Security has been notified. Anyone with information is asked to call university RCMP at a 604-224-1322.
