It’s that time of year again: you can nominate yourself for The Ubyssey Publications Society’s Board of Directors! We’re one of the top student newspapers in Canada, and you can play a huge part in our community as a board member.
The Board of Directors plays an important role in the day-to-day business of the paper. Board members attend monthly meetings to discuss and vote on The Ubyssey’s finances, business strategies and administration. You get to work with our business manager, student reps and coordinating editor to ensure that The Ubyssey runs smoothly and that we keep growing to be better than ever.
Being on the board gives you a chance to make a huge difference in the community and understand what a student paper does every day. We’re all journalists here — did you really think we could make business decisions ourselves?
