The Board of Governors has approved an increase in the spending rate of UBC endowments from 3.5 per cent to 4 per cent. This change will affect all of the university’s endowments, a fund of approximately $1.8 billion.

There is no singular reason why the Bookstore might have run out of your textbook. It could be anything from your absent-minded professor to add/drop-prone students who return their textbooks at the last minute.
Almost a year ago, Brooklyn Fink burned down the rainbow pride flag burning in honour of UBC's OUTweek. Most recently, the charges were dropped after Crown Counsel could not find a group or individual to take ownership of the flag.
